The intention of The Boothby Institute: For participants to experience that all of us have within our heart and mind the ability to create a life of value and purpose. “What One Person Can Do” is about accessing the power that already resides within each of us.

Bill Cumming created the Boothby Institute in order to organize the work he had been doing for over twenty-nine years and share it with as many people as possible. With the mission in mind, “The well-being of the planet” the Boothby Institude operates from five strategies.

* To communicate with every person we encounter in such a way that they see for themselves what is possible in their lives and in our world.

* To make visible the connection between individual wellness and positive contributions to the world.

* To remove barriers that may limit access to someone interested in our programs and services.

* To create new avenues in which our programs and services may be shared.

* To identify and communicate possibilities to those in spheres of influence.

Check out her website and be inspired. Gay Marriage: Why You Should Give a Damn | Davina Kotulski.

Davina Kotulski, a pioneer in the Freedom to Marry movement, explains in no uncertain terms why continuing to prevent gay men and lesbians from marrying creates a second-class citizenry and is in direct violation of the Equal Protection Clause of the U.S. Constitution. Kotulski offers a clear, succinct argument that will open the eyes of even the staunchest foe of gay marriage. For a clear, concise, and accurate perspective on an issue that is dominating the airwaves today, look no further than Why You Should Give a Damn About Gay Marriage, published by Advocate Books.

The heart of Challenge Day emerges through the statement “If you really knew me, this is what you would know about me…”

A few weeks ago, I interview John Raatz about transformational entertainment. This show is an outstanding example of what’s possible when we use “reality” television for positive purpose and intentional impact. I highly recommend watching this regardless of where you are in your life. The question and process applies if you are a human being. Let me know your thoughts and feelings on it.

Annie’s life work is helping teens become more self-aware, self-confident and better able to make choices that reflect who they really are. Annie is also committed to working with parents and teachers. Part of that effort recognizes that 21st century children require 21st century parenting and mentoring. Annie’s live events and her “Family Confidential” podcast series teach adults how to give teens what they need for healthy social/emotional development in middle school and beyond.
